Data Analytics Analyst

As a Data Analytics Analyst at Deloitte, you will work closely with data to help teams make better decisions. Your role is not just about creating reports—it’s about understanding data, finding patterns, and presenting insights in a clear and useful way.

You’ll mainly focus on building dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, and Alteryx. These dashboards will be used by business teams to track performance, identify issues, and plan next steps.

A big part of your work will involve handling raw data. This includes cleaning messy data, transforming it into structured formats, and ensuring accuracy before using it for analysis. You’ll apply data wrangling and ETL concepts regularly.

You’ll also work with Excel for analysis, especially using advanced functions like VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP. In some cases, basic knowledge of Python or R can help you handle more complex datasets.

Beyond technical work, you’ll be expected to understand business requirements. That means listening to what teams need, translating that into data solutions, and building dashboards that actually solve problems—not just display numbers.

You’ll follow standard frameworks and guidelines to keep reports consistent and reliable across projects. Testing is also part of your role—you’ll validate dashboards, fix issues, and improve performance based on feedback.

Documentation is important. You’ll maintain clear records of your work so others can understand, reuse, or improve it later.
